Medical school can be challenging. One of the most important resources for medical students is finding a support network. This critical need is often filled by student associations, which provide a community and benefits to members in order to help them succeed as clinicians. About the SNMA
Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is committed to representing and supporting underrepresented minority medical students and underserved communities. The SNMA aims “to increase the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians”, who in turn work to serve the health needs of underserved communities and communities of color.
